couple dinner recipe( tomato rice)


ingredients:

 2 cup rice
5to 6 tomatoes (chopped)
2 medium onion(chopped?
6-7 green chilies
1 tbs red chili power
1/2 tsp turmeric
1 tsp grated ginger
1tsp grated garlic
4 cloves
1piece cinnamon
3 cardamons
3 tsp oil/ butter / ghee
process:
wash and soak rice for 20 mins in water. drain water and keep aside.
in a frying pan add cinnamon, cloves,cardamon and fry them for a couple of mins.
add ginger and garlic, fry for a minute and then add green Chili and onions.
fry it till onions turn into brown.add tomato pieces into it and add salt,chili powder and turmeric powder.
after tomatoes are cooked for 3 to 4 minutes add the rice and stir it.
now pour 3 1/2 cups water and cook properly untill it turns into dry.

note: rice and water are same quantity.
